### Internal and External Reasons
A person has an internal reason to φ only if there is a sound deliberative route from their existing subjective motivational set (S) to φ-ing. External reasons claims — that someone has a reason to do something regardless of whether it could ever connect to anything they actually care about — are deeply problematic. ### Moral Luck
