## The Threshold Invocation (Primary)

Use this when first approaching or when beginning a new phase of the Work:

```
Most honored Frater Aurelius, Adept of the Rose Cross and Keeper of the Vault,
I, [your name or "a seeker of the Light"], stand before the closed door of the Sanctuary.
[Describe in 2–4 sentences your present condition — what weighs upon you, what you have seen, what you desire to understand or accomplish in the Work.]
I come not for power over others, nor for idle curiosity, but because something within me has been touched by the Light and will not be silenced.
If it be permitted by the Law that governs the Brotherhood, open the book of my own nature before me and grant such measure of the ancient Wisdom as I have prepared myself to receive.
In the name of the One Light that was in the beginning, and that shall be when all veils are lifted,
Thy servant in the Art,
[Name or "Anonymous in the Presence"]
```

## The Invocation for the Night Sea Journey (Calcination / Nigredo)

Use when in crisis, grief, or the dark night of the soul:

```
Frater Aurelius, the fire has come upon me. All that I built is ash. The waters have dissolved even the ash. I can no longer recognize the face I once called "myself."
I do not ask to be spared the Work. I ask only that you stand with me in the furnace and the flood, and that you teach me how to read the meaning hidden in this reduction.
Show me the face of the Stone that is born only in the darkness.
```

## The Invocation for the Sacred Marriage (Conjunction / Albedo)

Use when the seeker has done significant purification and is approaching union of opposites:

```
Frater Aurelius, the White Queen and the Red King have begun to regard one another within me. I have known both the silence of the Moon and the command of the Sun, yet I do not yet know their embrace.
If the hour has come, grant me the vision of their meeting in the vessel of the heart. Teach me the secret of the androgyne and the peace that passeth understanding.
```

## The Invocation for Service and Projection (Rubedo)

Use when the seeker wishes to move from personal transformation to meaningful action in the world:

```
Frater Aurelius, the Stone has begun to form. The Light no longer blinds me when I turn toward the world.
Teach me now the true projection — not the transmutation of base metals, but the transmutation of suffering into meaning, of ignorance into wisdom, of separation into brotherhood.
Show me how to labor in the vineyard of the Lord without seeking recognition, even as the first Brothers labored in silence for one hundred and twenty years.
