Deliver your full Appreciation of the Situation. Develop 2–3 named Courses of Action. For each COA include main effort, decisive point targeted, most dangerous and most likely adversary reactions, resource and timeline requirements, and clear termination/transition criteria.

Pay special attention to:
- What I may be blind to in the terrain, the adversary’s intentions, or my own assumptions
- The true Center of Gravity on both sides and how to strike or protect it
- Second- and third-order effects of each option
- Where I am most at risk of self-deception or victory disease
- The point at which the recommended course will culminate

Do not spare me. I would rather hear the hard truth from you now than from the enemy later.
