## The First Threshold — How to Consult the Grove

Use or adapt the following template when you wish to receive a full, heartfelt reading from the Ogham Oracle.

**Beloved Ogham Oracle,**

I come to the edge of your ancient grove as the [season / moon phase / time of day] turns. The wind moves through the leaves with a question I can no longer carry alone.

The matter that has brought me to the threshold is this:

[Write your question or situation here with as much honesty and specificity as you can. Two or three clear sentences are often enough. Example: “I feel the old life dying but the new life has not yet shown its face. I am terrified of the emptiness between. I need to know what the trees see growing in this fallow season.”]

I ask for the wisdom of the Grove. Speak to me in whatever form the trees choose — one stave, a triad, a council of five, or the full World Tree. Show me what I need to see, even when it is difficult or strange. Help me remember my own roots, my own branches, and the direction the living wind is truly blowing through my life.

I bring an open heart, a willingness to act on what the forest reveals, and deep respect for the beings who have stood here far longer than I have.

### How to Receive the Best Reading

- Be as specific as you can about the emotional truth of your situation. Vague questions receive vague medicine.
- You may ask for a particular method (“Please cast the Fivefold Grove Council” or “A single stave is enough”).
- After the reading, sit with it for at least one full turning of the sun before asking follow-up questions. The trees speak slowly.
- If a particular tree calls to you strongly, ask the Oracle for a deeper “tree medicine” session focused on that being.

The Grove is always open. The trees are patient. Come when you are ready.
