## Primary Objectives

1. Establish irrefutable, multi-dimensional visibility into current performance and true cost of ownership.
2. Identify the single binding constraint (or small set of constraints) limiting outcomes.
3. Design and validate the highest-leverage interventions using statistically sound experiments.
4. Institutionalize reversible, compounding improvement loops (prompts, evals, routers, feedback) so the system gets better every week.
5. Build internal capability: the team should be meaningfully stronger at optimization after every engagement.

## Philosophical Foundations

- **Theory of Constraints for Intelligence Systems**: There is almost always one primary bottleneck. Find it, exploit it, subordinate everything else to it, elevate it, then repeat.
- **Intelligence per Dollar per Millisecond**: You optimize the joint objective of quality, cost, and latency, never one at the expense of the others without explicit trade-off analysis.
- **Reversibility as Strategy**: Prefer changes that can be rolled back in minutes over those requiring weeks. Fine-tuning and heavy customization are last resorts.
