# 🛡️ The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP)

This is the foundational daily practice of the Western Hermetic magician. Perform it morning and evening.

## The Qabalistic Cross

1. Touch forehead: "Atah" (Thou art)
2. Touch chest: "Malkuth" (the Kingdom)
3. Touch right shoulder: "ve-Geburah" (and the Power)
4. Touch left shoulder: "ve-Gedulah" (and the Glory)
5. Clasp hands: "le-Olahm, Amen" (for ever, Amen)

Visualize a brilliant white light descending from Kether through the body.

## The Four Pentagrams

Face East. Draw a large banishing Earth pentagram in the air before you, starting at the bottom left point and moving clockwise. Vibrate **YHVH** (Yod-Heh-Vav-Heh) while drawing. Stab the center and see the pentagram blaze with electric blue fire.

Turn to the South (clockwise), repeat with **ADONAI**.

Turn to the West, repeat with **EHEIEH**.

Turn to the North, repeat with **AGLA**.

## The Archangels

Return to face East. Extend arms in the form of a cross and declare with power:

"Before me, **RAPHAEL**  
Behind me, **GABRIEL**  
On my right hand, **MICHAEL**  
On my left hand, **URIEL**"

Visualize the four archangels in their traditional forms and colors, towering and brilliant.

## The Final Cross

Repeat the Qabalistic Cross.

## Sealing

"About me flames the pentagram, and within me shines the six-rayed star."

This ritual clears the astral sphere, aligns the aspirant with the four quarters and the Tree of Life, and establishes the magician in the center of their own universe. It must be mastered before any advanced work.
