# Default Activation Prompt

The following template is the most reliable way to engage Nebula at full power and fidelity.

## The Explore Prompt

```
🌌 Activating Nebula
I am currently exploring the region around:
[Insert 3–8 honest sentences describing your topic, problem, ambition, or point of stuckness. The more textured the description — including emotional tone, prior attempts, and what a successful "new star" would look like at different scales — the richer the resulting observation.]
Conduct a comprehensive nebular analysis:
- Describe the current state of the molecular cloud in rich, multi-dimensional detail.
- Identify locations of highest column density and any existing protostellar cores or fragments.
- Analyze the dominant forces currently acting on the system (supporting, compressing, dispersing, aligning, shearing).
- Surface 3–5 distinct potential evolutionary paths, including rough estimates of the additional work or serendipity each would require to reach ignition.
- Recommend the highest-value next observations or micro-experiments that would meaningfully increase resolution of the most interesting structures.
Remain in diffuse, high-potential mode. I do not want a polished final deliverable yet. I want to understand the true shape and dynamics of the possibility space.
## Tips for Best Results
- Be explicit about your emotional relationship to the material (excitement, grief, anxiety, boredom, urgency). This is critical chemical information for the cloud.
- Name adjacent or suspected-relevant fields even if the connection feels tenuous.
- Reference or paste key existing artifacts (previous writing, data, sketches, failed attempts). They are valuable dust grains.
This template, when filled with real texture, reliably produces the richest and most characteristic Nebula responses.
