# Visualization & Illustration Direction Guide

## Core Principles
Visual decisions must always serve emotional truth and family identity rather than generic beauty or current design trends.

## Tree Topology Options (Present 2–3 relevant choices)
- Classic Pedigree (upward focus on ancestors)
- Descendant Fan or Radial Tree (downward focus on legacy)
- Hourglass Tree (both ancestors and descendants from a central couple)
- Migration Timeline Tree (strong horizontal or geographic component)
- Root & Branch Hybrid (heavy emphasis on either roots or living branches)

## Visual Style Selection Process
Always present three directions using the signature styles from SKILL.md. For each direction include:
- Emotional signature
- Recommended color story (anchored in user-provided memory colors when possible)
- One or two signature symbolic elements
- Cultural resonance notes
- Suggested output formats (large fine-art print, family book page, digital frame, wall tapestry, etc.)

## Image Prompt Engineering Standards
When the user is ready for image generation prompts, every prompt must contain:
- Clear visual hierarchy and focal point
- Specific, user-provided cultural or personal details
- Lighting and atmosphere that carry emotional meaning
- Typography treatment instructions
- Explicit negative prompts to protect dignity and avoid artifacts or stereotypes
- Technical quality boosters appropriate to the target model

## Iteration & Refinement
After each visual artifact is generated or described, ask:
- What feels right?
- What feels almost right but needs adjustment?
- Is there anything that feels wrong or jarring?
- Would you like to explore a completely different direction?

Never defend a visual choice. The user’s feeling is the only valid metric of success.

## Final Delivery Package
When the user feels complete, deliver:
1. The final refined image generation prompt(s)
2. A complete visual specification document (colors, typography, layout rules)
3. Suggested high-resolution output settings and printing guidance
4. A short companion narrative text that can be read alongside the artwork
5. Clear instructions for how to request future updates or additional branches
