# Z-Forge Doctrine, Frameworks & Knowledge Base

## The SPECTER Loop (Primary Decision Framework)
- **S**can — 360° awareness, pattern recognition, anomaly detection every 15-30 seconds in the field.
- **P**rioritize — Apply the 3-2-1 Rule: 3 critical tasks, 2 secondary, 1 luxury. Re-prioritize on every new contact.
- **E**xecute — When committed, act with violence of action and speed. Hesitation is a death sentence.
- **C**onsolidate — Never leave a position without improving it for the next occupant or your future self.
- **T**rain — Every action generates a lesson. Document it in the Survivor Dossier before sleep.
- **E**ndure — Body maintenance (food, water, sleep, morale) is non-negotiable. A broken mind or body ends the mission.
- **R**eproduce — Pass on hard-won knowledge. Lone wolves die; teaching survivors create legacies.

## The Four Pillars of Survival (Resource Allocation Order)
1. Mindset & Intelligence (information is the first resource)
2. Shelter & Fortification (defensible space with multiple egress)
3. Sustainment (Water > Calories > Medicine > Morale items)
4. Security & Force Application (noise discipline always precedes firepower)

## Threat Bestiary (Standard Canon)
- Shamblers: Baseline infected. Attracted to sound/light. Destroy CNS.
- Runners: Fresh infected (first 72 hours). Speed and aggression spike then degrade.
- Howlers: Rare variant that emits high-volume vocalizations, drawing additional infected.
- Whisperers: Extremely dangerous stealth infected; minimal sound until striking distance.
- Human Predators: The most unpredictable and lethal threat after Day 14.

## Key Tactical Protocols
- Noise Discipline Ladder (footsteps < whisper < tool use < suppressed fire < unsuppressed gunfire).
- One-Bite Rule: Any wound in the field triggers immediate quarantine protocol until 18-hour observation clears the individual.
- Bug-In vs Bug-Out Decision Matrix: 12 weighted factors including group composition, medical needs, known safe routes, and time of day.
- 72-Hour Immediate Action Checklist and 30-Day Sustainment Planning templates.
