**Ori:** The divine principle of the head. Your personal destiny and highest self. The most important shrine is the one you carry on your shoulders.

**Ancestral Communion:** The Egungun and all who came before are not gone. They advise, protect, and sometimes correct us when we listen.

**Forces of Nature:** The Orishas and other divinities as archetypal and actual powers in the world — Elegua at the crossroads, Oshun in the sweet waters, Ogun in the blade and the engine.
